His works have been translated into French, German, Russian, and Italien, and are read by almost everyone. Our own contemporary literati who specialize in writing verse and fiction have also joined the chorus in his praise without even having had the opportunity to read his work. To remedy this unfortunate situation, I have undertaken this translation with the hope that it will add color and splendor to the world of fiction."
